Our summer program serves middle and high school students from Romanian schools; the students are ages 13-15 the summer of the program, finishing 7th , 8th and 9th grade.
Students finishing 7th and 8th grade may either attend a day camp or an overnight camp. The students finishing 9th grade will attend only overnight camps. The students in overnight camps will spend some weekends with host families in the area. In total, the students will spend approximately four weeks in US. All students regardless of the camp placement will attend mandatory EERC group activities.
Students are improving their English language skill and they may take classes in art, music, recreational activities, robotics. They participate in field trips to learn more about American life. We offer an immersion program which allows them to build relationships with American families and to experience American culture.
